Welcome to this cozy cottage on the outskirts of Gagnef which is located in the southern parts of Dalarna. It´s an older cottage that has been renovated and expanded over the years to offer modern facilities and space for your stay. The cozy cabin is equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The old iron stove in the main cabin has been preserved and gives you the opportunity to light a fire on chilly evenings and feel the warmth spread throughout the room. It gives a magical feeling and makes you feel like you are traveling back in time. There are beds for a total of six people and a fresh bathroom equipped with a combined washing machine/dryer. The kitchen is in a semi-open floorplan facing the main cabin and is equipped with for instance a dishwasher. At the back of the cottage you have your private patio and there is also a charcoal grill. You share a plot with the home owner who lives at the same address. The river Dalälven, which goes through Dalarna, is a few hundred meters from the cottage. The area around the cottage has something for everyone regardless of the season. During the summer you can go fishing in one of the nearby lakes or take a hike on one of the many hiking trails in the area. During the winter, there are fantastic possibilities for skiing on the nearby slopes or along the prepared tracks. The cottage is also located in a quiet area and gives you the opportunity to get away from the noise and stress of the city and relax in the fresh air.
