Welcome to Östervåla. Here you live in a cozy furnished cottage built in 1925 which is located on a hill in a scenic and rural environment. the house is surrounded by meadows, fields and has a fantastic proximity to forest and land, swimming and nature experiences. Here you live alone with a horse farm as your nearest neighbour. Via the entrance to the red-painted house, you enter directly into a small hall that leads to the kitchen, living room, bathroom and stairs to the upper floor. The kitchen on the left is a large and rustic kitchen combined with a family room with a dining area for many. Here you can finish the dinner in the sofa group and enjoy the warmth from both the wood stove and the fine working tiled stove. The sofa is a sofa bed that can sleep two people in. Next to the kitchen is the living room with two sofas and a bed and here you can also have a fire in the stove. The bathroom is newly renovated and has a lovely bathtub. A wooden staircase leads up to the upper floor where there is a spacious hall and three bedrooms. In the master bedroom there is a double bed and here, too, a stove to burn in. There is also a spacious bedroom with two single beds and a bedroom with a single bed. Enjoy everything that nature has to offer such as berry and mushroom picking, hiking trails and swimming in the lake Toften at Ettingsbadet with sandy beach and docks about 10 km from the house. For those of you who like to hike, there are several nature reserves nearby, go to Aspnäs or to Iggelbo by lake Tämnaren. Here you can combine both culture and nature experiences with many bird species, flowers and vegetation. In Östervåla there is a center with grocery stores, health center, system company and restaurant, Östervåla became known in the 19th century for chair and furniture manufacturing. Today, there are only a few cabinetmakers left. If you like to move, feel free to try climbing the adventure course/obstacle course or play a paddle match. If you want to swim in a bathhouse, you can go to Heby approx. 30 min. Feel free to visit the secondhand/ flea market shop Solrosen, where you can have coffee, lunch and bargains. If you want to visit Uppsala with a lot of culture, shopping and experiences, it takes about 50 minutes to go there. Here you have many opportunities for both peace and activities.
