Flacke lake in Sjöaryd is 1 km from your accommodation and then Tånnerydsdammen is a little further away for swimming. In Knäred you have Flammabadet (an outdoor bath). Sea bathing or bathing in Hjörneredssjön is also an option. Mellbystrand outside Laholm is known for its long sandy beach. You also have Tylösand outside Halmstad. You live very close to the Småland border and in Markaryd 13 km you will find Smålandet, which has moose safaris and is a nice excursion destination with the children. Other excursion destinations are Store Mosse National Park and Isaberg/Hestra for those interested in skiing and hiking. The western town of High Chaparall is nearby.
