You can also swim in Hjörneredssjön or the sea. The long sandy beach in Mellbystrand outside Laholm is worth a visit. Then there is also nearby Tylösand in Halmstad, which has nice baths. Both Laholm and Halmstad are pleasant summer resorts with restaurants and shopping.
