Sørvestvendt, usjenert og solrik beliggende hytte med sol til langt på kveld.
Svært barnevennlig – kun 500m enkel vei til områdets fineste badestrand med langgrunn sand, hoppetårn og kiosk.
Gullmarsfjorden er et kjent naturreservat og her finnes et yrende dyreliv.
Gårvik er et typisk svensk sommersted med avslappet atmosfære, slik bare Bohuslän og den svenske vestkysten kan by på. Kort vei til bading, naturopplevelser og fine turområder.
Koselige småveier og rolig biltrafikk. Liten fotballbane for spill og lek på vei til stranden og noen lekeapparater på stranden inkludert sandvolleyballbane. Langgrunn sandstrand med hoppetårn og flytebrygger.
Dagligvare-, servicebutikker, restauranter og Systembolaget inne i Munkedal sentrum ca 10 km fra hytten. Torp Uddevalla, et av Nordens største handlesenter, med alt av butikker som ikea, Lidl, Biltema, Coop Kvantum etc ca 25 km fra hytten.
Noen få km til Torreby Golfklubb en utrolig flott 18 hulls golfbane med egen driving range planert rundt et barokk-slott.
